Wigs, gowns and bibs can be hired or purchased from The Graduation Place, for admissions and court appearances throughout New Zealand. Please email to inquire about stock availability regarding purchased legal attire.  Advanced booking is essential for hire.  100% of proceeds fund education through The Kate Edger Foundation.

Admission & Counsel Moving

Candidates for admission to the bar ceremonies and their moving counsel have the option of wearing traditional court attire (wigs, bands, white shirt and gowns) or gowns over neat clothing.  Neat clothing means dark suit, white shirt and tie for men and equivalent dress for women (women must wear a white shirt or blouse). 
 

Bonds

For hiring legal regalia for an admissions ceremony or on a casual basis in Auckland we require a bond of $200.00. All orders must have the bond to be confirmed.
 

Delivery Costs

We can arrange courier delivery at an additional cost of $10.00 each way within the Auckland CBD, $15.00 each way within the North Island, and $32.50 each way for orders sent to South Island, New Zealand.
 

Payment Options in advance, or when collecting regalia

Payment is to be made online when placing your order. We do not do hirage in-store.
 

Combining Hire and Purchase of Regalia

You can choose to hire some items and purchase some items of a full set of Legal regalia.

If you choose to hire some items, the hire items will need to be returned at the times stated on your invoice to avoid late fee penalties.
If your items are being couriered, please note during busy admissions periods we may not be able to send the hired items earlier.
 

Wig Repair Service

Wigs require a special standard of care and maintenance.  The Graduation Place offers a professional wig repair service, just ask us for a quote.
